Take a Collective Snapshot of Earth on 11-11-11!
What if everyone on Earth took a photo at the same exact moment?
It would be the most collective and in depth image of mankind itself!
On 10-10-10, One Day on Earth came close to doing just that,
The One Day on Earth project invited people and artists all over the world to take a photograph or film footage of the most important thing to them on the trinumeral day of October 10, 2010.
They reached out and connected with a wide array of people all over the world through 60 non-profits and the United Nations.
The resulting footage created a unique geo-tagged video archive as well as an upcoming feature film.
Together, they are showcasing the amazing diversity, conflict, tragedy, and triumph that occurs in one day.
They’re now turning the 3000 hours of footage into a feature film, View the film trailer . They’ve also created a searchable online archive!
The Next day of shooting will be on 11-11-11 this year, So be sure and take part in a collective snapshot of Earth!
